Sulfur in Acne-Ltd

Acne Ltd contains sulfur as a base ingredient. Sulfur is one of the best tolerated topical anti-acne medications for acne skin. It has a much greater action on papules and pustules then the standard OTC products. In addition, sulfur is also indicated for the treatment of the dry flaky patches (seborrheic dermatitis) that often occur from overuse of salicyclic acid and benezoyl peroxide. So Furthermore, the disks sulfur concentration of 1.5% is a great starting dose. People usually respond beautifully to 0.5 to 2% sulfur -- without irritation. However, at higher concentrations (like 5-10%), sulfur may actually cause facial vasodilation, so the key to remember is less is more beneficial.
