WHAT IS ACNE-LTD?

We would like to state that ACNE- LTD III is not a magical potion, nor is it a permanent cure for acne (acne is a skin condition that can be placed into remission, or limited; thus the name Acne Ltd).

Acne Ltd is an extremely effective treatment system that significantly alleviates most of the symptoms associated with acne. Now in our eigth year of operations, our improved third version of Acne Ltd has been used by thousands of acne sufferers throughout the world who have benefited from the results of our patented acne formula.

The key to Acne Ltd III is simplicity. It delivers many well-known and well-documented anti-bacterial and anti-acne ingredients directly to the skin, without the side effects that accompany most acne treatments.

THE CAUSE OF ACNE

The true cause of acne is often unknown. Androgens (hormones) can trigger acne in those predisposed. Plugging of hair follicles by a protein known as keratin causes the formation of so-called whiteheads and blackheads, which form when the plugged sebaceous glands within the hair follicles continue to secret sebum (an oily secretion). Sebum and skin cells cannot exit, thus accumulating in mass, causing the follicle to swell. If the swelling continues, it may rupture, allowing the surface bacteria (normally found on the skin) to enter and cause local infections or pimples. The pimples may then enlarge and form cysts. Irritation by inflammatory fatty acids within the plugged follicles, and an overgrowth of the bacteria Proprionibacterium together contribute to the process of acne formation. Other causes that may trigger acne include: irritating creams and oils; topical steroid creams; corticosteroid medication taken orally; puberty, certain drugs (e.g., Dilantin, Lithium, birth control pills, steroids), humid/hot weather, supplements (e.g., DHEA), and constant skin friction (e.g., use of motorcycle helmets, telephones) are some of the common risk factors.

Cleansing Acne Skin

Wash your skin with a mild cleanser, at least once in the morning and once in the evening and after heavy exercise. Wash your face from under the jaw to the hairline. Some people with acne may try to stop outbreaks and oil production by scrubbing their skin and using strong detergent soaps and rough scrub pads. However, scrubbing will not improve acne; in fact, it can make the problem worse. It is important that you thoroughly rinse your skin after washing. Astringents are not recommended, instead use a clean wash cloth to gently exfoliate the skin and open the pores. Dermatologists also recommend that patients regularly shampoo their hair. Those with oily hair may want to shampoo it every day.

Acne-Ltd Web Page Highlights

This review is intended to highlight key points from all the Acne-Ltd III web pages; however, if you care to review the original articles, simply click the links in the summary points below.
1. Acne is a condition of the sebaceous glands of the skin. These sebaceous glands surround each hair follicle and produce sebum, an oily substance, to lubricate the hair. Acne usually appears on the face, back and chest. We list the causes of Acne.
2. Acne can be aggravated by sunlight, stress, allergies, alcohol, spicy foods and extremes in temperatures.
3. Retinoids at first dry and exfoliate the skin to minimize acne symptoms, but over time they may destroy the skin and cause severe disfigurement: "a flaming red, scaling, papule-covered face". AHA, BHA, and Accutane are examples of retinoids.
4. The use of antibiotics eventually leads to the development of resistant bacteria.)
5. Stress aggravates acne and rosacea.
6. Cigarette smoking aggravates acne and rosacea.
7. Alcohol provokes acne-related facial flushing (redness) because it dehydrates the body.
8. Lifestyle changes and healthy habits can greatly reduce the redness, pimples, and other symptoms of acne. Recommended lifestyle changes:
Reduce stress.
Drink at least 8 eight-ounce glasses of water (2 liters) per day. Ten to twelve glasses (3 liters) per day is recommended.Water should be icy cold. The hypothalamus, the body's "thermostat", cannot properly regulate temperature (and prevent facial flushing) unless kept cool and supplied with adequate water. Water also hydrates the skin, preventing clogged pores. Increasing your water intake will also help to reduce facial redness and excess oil.
Avoid stimulants such as coffee, tea, tobacco products and excessive sugar.
Avoid alcohol.
Avoid vigorous scrubbing, exfoliants, and other abrasives.
Use the right soap. Most soaps are too harsh for acne-afflicted skin.
Recognize and avoid foods and beverages which provoke an acne-related allergic reaction.
Avoid large meals; eat instead three small meals.
Exercise.
Avoid astringents and astringent soaps.
Change wash-cloths and body towels after each use.
Avoid the sun as much as possible. Sun exposure aggravates acne.
9. Acne-Ltd is simple and easy to use.
10. Acne-Ltd has no known side effects.
11. You can be confident that you run no risk in buying Acne-Ltd.
